The Shri Ram Universal School Jammu with the legacy of Shri Ram School of Delhi and Gurgaon (One of India’s Top CBSE SCHOOLS), Today launched SHRI CONNECT, its parent portal and mobile app.
This portal is a step forward to involve parents into the development of their child, which is the Shri philosophy of “Three Way Handshake” between the School, the Student and the Parent. The Portal being interactive helps the parent to share their suggestions and concerns thereby strengthening their connect with the school.
During the launch the school Principal Ms. Ritula Singh shared the schools philosophy and emphasized upon the team work of parent and the school for development of the student.
The launch was followed by a brief talk on ‘Reforms in today’s Education’, by eminent educationist Ms. Sudha Rajamohan, member of Shri Educare Limited, Delhi. She shared with the gathering the much needed changes in our education. She suggested moving on from there R’s (Reading, writing and Arithmetic) to five C’s (Critical thinking, Creativity, Communication, Collaboration and Confidence) for the growth of the student.
The school chairman Mr Sanjeev Gupta and director Ms Rajni Gupta informed the parents present that the school will be holding a series of workshops for the parents to update them on phonics,21st century skills etc as a part of three way handshake.
