Infuriated over the remarks passed by the Ex Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA)-Langate Constituency, Er. Rasheed against the last Dogra Ruler of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Vice President Young Panthers (YP) Partap Singh Jamwal today filed a written complaint against the MLA for lodging FIR against him.
Accompanied by Tarseem Singh (Distt. Ptresident YP), Anil Rakwal (Prov. Secy. YP), Bhanu Partap Singh Goria (Jammu West President) along with scores of activists of Young Panthers, Partap Singh through a written complaint filed a complaint to the Station House Officer (SHO) Gandhi Nagar K against the former MLA and Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) President-Er. Abdul Rasheed for his statements on Dogra Ruler Maharaja Hari Singh.
Partap said that such type of abusive remarks on Late Maharaja Hari Singh would not be tolerated by the Dogra community.
He further said that few days back a video went viral on social media wherein Er. Rasheed flanked by some other persons was seen using abusive language against Dogra Ruler Maharaja Hari Singh and Dogra Community.
Angered over the act of the MLA Er. Rasheed, team of Young Panthers today filed a written complaint against him for lodging FIR against him for the said act.
Speaking media persons, Partap said that Er. Rasheed is trying to hurt the sentiments of nationalist peoples of the State, especially Dogras and disturb the peace, law and order and communal harmony of the state.
Partap appealed the Director General of Police (DGP) to immediately book the culprits and arrest them for passing such remarks against the Dogra Ruler of the State.
Partap has also communicated the issue through a letter to the President of India Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Home Minister of India for monitoring the case.
Other who were present on the occassion included Arun Mehra (Distt vice President), Vishal Jamwal, Shivam Gupta, Vikrant Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Parshant Banote, Daljeet Singh, Ajay, Satish Verma, Tinku Sharma and others.
