Bhadwerwah 28 feb: 19 Passengers and transporters at Pul-Doda have been equally facing problems due to unavailability of bus stand,proper waiting area ,rain shed,drinking water and litrens from 2006 .
The pasangers and transporters said none of the consecutive government bothered to carry out any construction work at Pul-Doda.“Since there is no bus stand ,shade and waiting area, passengers usually face problems in hot summer as well as in winter,” said a texi union president Mr.Javed Naik.
“There is no waiting area for the passengers where they can wait and protect themselves from rain or sun. Men, women and children usually suffer as they have to wait in hot summer without any protection ,” said Ashaq Ali Watal,a paaasenger,he said the womens and patients facing problems due to unavailability of literns and drinking water at Pu-doda, “a central place of 2 districts,kishtwar and Doda”.
Some people also complain that there is no cleanliness arrangements at pul-Doda and filth and garbage are scattered everywhere.
“We demand from the government to construct bus stand,and rain shed that passengers and transporters can protect themselves from direct sun and rain.Hope the government and district administration wakes up to the situation.
