Historic Baisakhi Mela at Mansar was today inaugurated with traditional zeal and fervour by MLA Ramnagar, Ranbir Singh Pathania.
People of the area were all-praise for the efforts and endeavours of the local legislator from the area for reviving this traditional and cultural festival which once had been a centre-of-attraction for the people of entire province.
It is due to his efforts that traditional mela was today organised with the involvement of Deptt of Tourism.While speaking on the occassion Mr Pathania laid thrust on the infrastructure development in and around the Mansar area so that tourists influx can be increased.
He also reiterated the need for tapping the rich tourism potential of Ramnagar, may it be – Ancient temples of Babour Manwal, Apshambhu Mandir Khoon and Rich Heritage of Ramnagar and Basantgarh areas. Prominent peoples who attend the function are CEO SMDA, Amit Sharma BJYM President, Bishan Sharma Mandal Pardhan, Kirpal Singh Member State Advisory Board Sh. Shiv Ram other prominent members included Suresh Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Sanjeev Singh, Ajay, Gurdev, Surjeet , Makhan Sharma, Som Raj Amit Sharma and others.
