RAMNAGAR, APR 04:
Ranbir Singh Pathania inaugurated Badhole to Surni Khas (Stage-II)/macadamization work of PMGSY road having length of 07.750 km and supposed to be completed at the cost of 214.93 lacs. The said road had been in shambles and non-motorable since past decade. The contractor agency left the work midway thereby causing severe hardships to the people of as many as five villages who had been deprived of facility of road connectivity. He also inaugurated newly constructed building of health Sub-Centre Surni which has been constructed at the cost of 22.00 lacs. The work on said building had also been started a decade ago and had been deserted midway by the contractor agency. The local people thanked the efforts of the young and vibrant MLA who had taken up the cause of macadamization of the roads/deserted buildings and got started the work on almost every stalled project. It was due to the out of box approach of local legislator that deserted works have been completed and dedicated to the people of the area in a remarkable shorter span of time. Pathania also conducted a Janta Darbar at village Surni while taking up firsthand overview of the public issues related to drinking water, electricity, road connectivity, healthcare, education facilities. Mr. Pathania directed line officers as well as different departments to ensure maximum presence in neglected areas of Ramnagar.
