Shiv Sena Hindustan activists led by J&K President Pt Rajesh Kesri today held strong protest against government over shortage of staff at Govt Hospital in Arnia town and in order to show their resentment, activists torched effigy of Govt and raised slogans against govt. Speaking on the occasion, Kesri accused Govt for increasing the difficulties and miseries of border villages of Bishnah constituency.
He said the people of Arnia and other border villages of Bishnah are facing lot of hardships and difficulties as development in the area is stand still and people are devoid of regular electricity and drinking water and badly damaged roads.
Kesri said that the Arnia Hospital lacks emergency Medical facilities. He demanded that Govt should made a full fledge well equipped hospital in boarder town of Arnia as many times Pakistan unprovoked firing takes many precious lives of the people this border belt.He accused Govt of its failure on all fronts in giving stable and effective governance. He criticized BJP for a steep price rise of essential commodities of daily use. The lower middle class and poor families are feeling crushed with the brunt of price rise. He alleged that BJP is proving anti- poor and anti- farmer party of India and asked people to teach them a strong lesson at the time of elections. From lack of fuel in ambulances to unavailability of experts to provide critical care, health facilities remain poor.
Kesri claimed that two ambulances are staying idle due to no drivers and demanded that before arranging other facilities ,Govt should immediately arrange two drivers for ambulances so that critical patients can be taken to Govt Medical College and hospital timely. He also requested the Member of Parliament to bring into notice of Lt Governor and tell him about the pitiful condition of the hospital and how if any accident happens, it will be difficult to save patients due to lack of ambulance driver here. People take patients to GMC on Scooters and Motorcycles, which is a black spot for the government. The government should take care of the hospitals in the border areas because these are small hospitals, but still primary help is provided from there and later when they have to be taken to the Medical College, an ambulance is required, for that we want the government to provide a driver there as soon as possible so that people can get some relief.Kesri assured the people of Arnia area that he will fight for their rights and demands.
