A massive protest demonstration under the banner of J&K PDD Need based/Casual labourer worker union was held in front of Chief Engineer EM&RE Wing Jammu. Hundreds of casual workers of PDD assembled outside the office of Chief Engineer and raised slogans in support of their demands urging the higher authorities of PDD of release their pending wages of 3405 workers, so that they save their families from starvation.
While addressing the protesting workers Mr Akhil Sharma president All J&K Need based worker union stressed upon stressed upon the authorities to release pending wages of workers from wage head monthly, those present: Sham Sharma, Bilal Bashir, Ab. Gani, Saleem, Sajid, Daljeet, Gurmail, Ashish Verma.
Demands, Release of Pending wages of 3405 workers immediately, Monthly payment from wage head (outsourcing), Implementation of SRO 381.
