A new song from upcoming Bollywood film ‘Dhadak’ is out, which is titled as ‘Pehli Baar’. The soothing love song is sung by Ajay Gogavale. The music has been composed by Ajay-Atul and lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The song has been picturized on Ishaan and Janhvi. The romantic track celebrates the first love. The film, ‘Dhadak’ is an adaptation of a 2017 Marathi hit ‘Sairat’. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and is produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions. It is slated to release on 20th July 2018.After winning hearts with the melodious title track ‘Dhadak’ and topping music charts with ‘Zingaat’, Karan Johar dropped the third song of Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor’s much-anticipated film Dhadak on Thursday.
Dhadak is one of the most talked about films of the year – first because it is a Hindi adaptation of Marathi blockuster ‘Sairat’ and second because it marks legendary actress Sri Devi’s daughter Janhvi and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan’s big Bollyod debuts. Although, Ishaan has previously acted in Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond the Clouds’, it’s ‘Dhadak’ that will eventually establish him as a mainstream actor in the Hindi Film industry.
The latest song ‘Pehli Baar’, which is a recreation of ‘Yad Lagla’ from Sairat, packs the innocence, excitement, fear and magic of first love all in one. Sung by Ajay Gogavale, penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Ajay-Atul; the over 3-minute-long video focuses more on Ishaan as it musically narattes what a young, innocent, small-town boy feels when he first experiences that emotion called ‘love’ that too for a girl he believes he can never have.
