JAMMU, Oct 10:
The combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments of University of Jammu (JU) won the annual inter-college women’s Football Tournament held under the banner of Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, JU on the campus grounds, here today.
In the final, PG Departments blanked Government Degree College (GDC) Billawar 4-0 in a one-sided contest. Rigzen Lamo remained in lime light netting three goals in the fifth, 12th and 30th minute of the match. Other goal came through Kunzang Lamo in the 46th minute.
The winning team presented the title trophy by Assistant Director Sports, Dr. Komal Nagar, who was chief guest and congratulated the players.
Prominent among others present were Sakhshi Vaid, Gagan Kumar, Aman, Aquil and Shivam. The final officiated by the technical penal including Rahul Sharma, Rahul Ghai, Banty Kumar and Suresh Gupta.
