UDHAMPUR, May, 15:
The district unit of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), Udhampur, convened a pivotal meeting under the chairmanship of Des Raj, ZEO (Retd) and District President of JKNC SC Cell, Udhampur.
On the occasion, Sunil Verma, District President JKNC Udhampur, pres ided over the meeting. The meeting witnessed active participation of party members including Manmohan Verma, Block President of Tikri; Capt (Retd) Rattan Singh, Block President of Majalta; and Sudesh Kumar, District Secretary of Youth NC Udhampur.
Highlighting the importance of grassroots engagement, the meeting welcomed new members into the folds of the National Conference. Puran Dass, a retired Subadar, and Bindu Ram, a prominent social activist, formally joined the party, pledging to bolster Party’s foundations and contribute to its growth.
Sunil Verma, in his address, underscored the significance of disseminating the policies and programs of the National Conference at the grassroots level. He urged party workers to play an active role in strengthening the party’s presence across every corner of the district.
He emphasized the need to rally behind the leadership of Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah, reinforcing the party’s commitment to the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and dedication among the attendees, signaling the party’s unwavering commitment to its principles and the welfare of the region.
