PLS (J) releases collection of Punjabi Poetry

JAMMU, MAY 14:
Punjabi Lekhak Sabha (Regd.), Jammu organized fortnightly literary meet on Sunday at K L Saigal hall, Jammu and releases a collection of Punjabi poetry book titled ‘Deeva Baley Saari Raat’ written by Ms. Chand Deepika in a very impressive function. S. Ajit Singh Mastana, a well known poet from Kashmir Presided over the programme while Dr. Ved Kumari Ghai was the Chief Guest. Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn and Dr. Snobar were special guests on this occasion. Poetess Chand Deepika, Dr. Monojit, President PLS (J) and Dr. Baljeet Singh Raina, a renowned writer & General Secretary PLS (J) shared the presidium.
Ichhupal and Smt. Kusum presented their papers on the content and poetry included in the released book. Ms. Chand Deepika shared her creative process and thanked all the writers who helped her for the publication of the book. She also read her selected poems for the audience.
Earlier Dr. Monojit welcomed the guests.
Speaking on this occasion Dr. Ved Kumari Ghai appreciated the efforts of Punjabi Lekhak Sabha (J) in promoting and bringing forth the literary treasures to the fore. In his address S. Ajit Singh Mastana said that PLS (J) is a pioneer organization working for the young generation and preserving the literary works of senior literary people. He said that the released book would certainly add to the prevailing flavor of the Punjabi poetry in practice in the region. He congratulated the poetess for her valuable contribution in the field of Punjabi literature.
Dr. Baljeet Singh Raina conducted the proceedings of the programme. Vote of Thanks was presented by Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik.
