P.O.J.K DP’s Front hold a Protest Rally at Press Club Jammu on today under the Chairmanship of President Captain (Retd.) Yudhvir Singh Chib. While addressing the protestors, Chib said that the P.O.J.K. DP’s are struggling since 1947 and have suffered loss of their huge properties which they left during the Pak aggression of 1947, 1965 and 1971. After a long struggle, the Prime Minister of India Narender Modi sanctioned Rs.2 Thousand Crore for disbursement to P.O.J.K Refugees, he added.
He further stated that DP’s are still living in penury and the allotted amount has been distributed to minimum DP’s families so far. According to Chib, the Process of identification is going on at very slow pace due to lack of previous documents which are not available with claiments and also in the old record rooms of Jammu and Kashmir Government due to which DP’s are suffering badly. A large number of DP’s gathered at Press Club Jammu to highlight their problems.

Gagan Pawan Singh Salathia, Capt Behari Singh, Tirath Singh, Tara Singh, Bimla Devi, Devi, DSP Krishan Singh, Subash Singh Chib, Kashmir Singh, Ashwani Kumar, Sham Singh, S/Maj Gittan Ram, Sub Balky Singh, Sh. Sawaran Singh, Sh. Maan Singh, Sawaran Singh. S. Hari Singh, Rasal Singh and others.
