The workers-affiliated with Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) presently working in Sudhir Genset Bari Brahaman Jammu have manhandled and beaten up the Manager Sudhir Genset Shammi Sharma wherein the concerned Police Station has failed to take action against the workers even though the management had lodged complaint against the workers since three days.
“Around six workers namely Anil Singh, Sunil Kumar, Sukesh Kumar, Sohan Lal, Harban Lal, Jagbir Singh have entered my Chamber and started beaten up and manhandled me in front of the Sudhir Genset staff who intervene and protect from these workers for continuously for the last three days without my fault. I have lodged a written complaint in Police Station Bari Brahmana in this context but till date no action has been taken by the concerned police station,” Sudhir Genset Manager told while speaking to media.
He further said, “There are various issues between workers and management were happens which can easily be sorted out friendly but instead of understanding the norms and acts of Sudhir Genset Company, they (workers) routinely entered my Chamber for the last 3 day and started abusing and beaten up me without any fault of mine,” he maintained.
Now, I am at presently in the Police Station to lodge one more complaint related to the today’s incident and on this, the concerned police officer has called all the six worker and started inquiry in this context but no fruitful conclusion has been come out from it so far,” he added.
“The concerned police station has almost busy with negotiation instead of taking stern action against the workers for their inhuman act and there is no question of compromising with them. I want FIR against them as no FIR has been lodged by the police station against the workers so far after lodging three complaint them for the last three days,” he said. When contacted Police Station Bari Brahmana Head Munshi Kartar Singh said, “We have received a complaint from Manager Sudhir Genset Industrial Area Bari Brahmana over the issue and we have started inquiry in this context and we have called both the parties to the police station to pacify them over the incident. If the negotiations fail over the confrontation, then we will lodge an FIR against the workers to provide justice to the Manager accordingly.”
