A police-public meeting was organized in Vasant Vihar, Ward No. 53, Trikuta Nagar, to address rising concerns over thefts and drug-related activities in the area. The meeting was organized by BJP Mahila Morcha State Secretary & Media Prabhari Prerna Nanda and hosted at the residence of senior BJP leader Sardar Amrik Singh Sudan.
It was attended by SHO Trikuta Nagar Rajesh Jasrotia, along with several prominent citizens and local residents.
During the meeting, residents voiced their grievances regarding increasing thefts, drug abuse, and security issues. They urged the police to enhance patrolling, deploy night security, and take strict action against criminal activities. They also highlighted safety concerns for women and requested additional police presence in the area.
SHO Rajesh Jasrotia assured the attendees of the police department’s commitment to maintaining law and order. He emphasized that necessary steps would be taken to curb crime and improve security measures in the locality. He also advised residents on how they could contribute to ensuring their own safety through vigilance and cooperation with law enforcement.
Speaking at the event, BJP Mahila Morcha State Secretary & Media Prabhari Prerna Nanda stressed that the police force plays a vital role in maintaining societal stability.
She highlighted the need for increased police vigilance, particularly at night, to safeguard women and create a secure environment for all residents.
Senior BJP leader Advocate Amit Singh also addressed the gathering, appreciating the proactive role of the police and encouraging citizens to remain alert and report any suspicious activities. Sardar Amrik Singh Sudan expressed gratitude to the police officials for their efforts and emphasized the importance of regular police-public interactions to strengthen security in the area.
The meeting witnessed the participation of several prominent citizens, including S. Prem Singh, Capt. Hans (Retd.), S. Gurmohan Singh, Sh. Romesh Gandhi, Sh. Puneet Ji, S. Mehar Singh, S. The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to work together towards a safer and crime-free neighborhood.
