Prof. Bhim Singh, Candidate for Jammu – Poonch Parliamentary Constituency & Chief Patron of National Panthers Party asked the State & Central functionaries to concentrate on ameliorating basic problems faced by common masses in remote, hilly & far-flung areas of Akhnoor, Sunderbani, Nowshera, Muradpur in and around border district of Rajouri. Addressing workers meetings at the said places during election campaign tour Prof. Bhim Singh lambasted the traditional ruling parties NC, Congress, PDP & BJP, besides the politically motivated bureaucracy for ignoring far off villages in the state even to provide basic amenities like Drinking Water, Power, Medical Facilities, Proper Road Connectivity, Ration Commodities. Ground realities are different, from what propaganda is organized by the ruling parties with help of derailed administration. Bureaucrats both in Civil & Police are totally politicized and biased towards the poor common masses including Gujjars, Bakerwals, weaker section of the society & un-employed frustrated youth. Much talked about welfare schemes for poor are only through on Newspapers, DD, Commercial Channels etc. farmers are hard hit by lack of adequate irrigation facilities, non-availability of healthy seats and apathetic attitude of the farm experts towards the poor toiling people.
Anita Thakur, State General Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP), Women Empowerment, who accompanied the Party Chief, vehemently criticized the state government for up-rooting Women Commission Office in Jammu to accommodate State Law Commission without any cogent reason. She said that the poor and pathetic condition of Women in the villages is deplorable and shameful for BJP slogan “Beti Bechao, Beti Padao”. Anti Women and Child functioning of state administration can be judged by the order of govt. No. 30-Est of 2019 dated 26.03.2019 asking State Women Commission to vacate the premises and hand over the position to recently constituted State Law Commission.
Others who spoke in the meetings include Thakur Virender Singh, State President – NPSU, Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary, District President, Rajouri, Hoshiyar Kumar, Vice President, Rajouri, Devinder Singh, General Secretary, Rajouri, Pushpa Devi, District President Mahila Wing, Sangeeta Sharma, Zaheer Charak, Mukesh Sharma etc.
