Jammu, OCt 17:
Today, Sadguru of Sahib Bandgi Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj while spreading his sermons in Ranjdi, Jammu said that the person whose mind is polluted due to sinful deeds cannot see God even in his dreams. Therefore, the more sins a person commits, the more his intellect will become polluted. Today, there are a lot of gurus. They do not give knowledge of right and wrong to the disciple. There is a shloka in the Vedas, which means that if the food is pure, the intellect will be pure. If the intellect is pure, then the meditation will be pure. If the meditation is pure, then the knowledge will be pure. If the knowledge is pure, then salvation will be pure. They do not tell the disciples not to eat meat. The mind of a person is like the food he eats.
Our Hindu religion is great. We evaluate anyone by his qualities. So and so person is very good in the village or so and so person is very bad, do not treat him badly. Why said? According to his qualities. Sahib Ji further said that this religion considers eating meat a grave sin. This religion believes that God exists. There are two principles – truth and non-violence. We have to understand truth and non-violence properly. There are eight types of truth. Speaking the truth, eating the truth, keeping company with the truth, behaving with the truth, listening to the truth, thinking the truth, etc.
Pure water is pure. If harmful things get mixed in it, it becomes impure. Similarly, non-violence also has eight parts. Do not hurt anyone through your mind, words or deeds. Do not be jealous. Do not have feelings of revenge. If someone is giving you thorns, you give him flowers. He will get his thorns and you will get your flowers. Do not hate anyone. Do not wish ill for anyone. One whose conscience is not involved in bad deeds will become pure. Just as everything is visible in light, similarly the internal enemies will be visible in a pure conscience.
The aim of this religion is to attain salvation. A man does not become righteous by being born in any religion. He becomes righteous by following the rules of religion.
