POONCH, Oct 14:
Pinto Club and Manjeet Singh Club declared joint winners of the District Poonch Volleyball Championship after the final stopped due to bad light at 2-2 at Sports Stadium, here today.
In the final, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Adil Hamid was chief guest, who interacted with the finalist teams and presented the title trophy amidst appreciation for the organisers, District Volleyball Association.
Prominent among others present were Krishan Lal (secretary District Volleyball Association), Ved Prakash, Narinder Singh (ZPEO Poonch), Surinder Singh (ZPEO Mendhar), Pawan Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Tariq Khan, Ram Prakash, Sourab Sharma and Rajinder Singh.
The event officiated by the technical penal including Neeraj Kumar (VFI referee), Shafqat, DK Raina and Davinder Singh.
This championship held under the overall supervision of Incharge Sports Stadium, Poonch, Nirdosh Kumar.
