Poshan Pakhwada organised by ICDS department concluded here today.
Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib was the Chief Guest at the valedictory function, while Additional DC, Rajinder Sharma was the Guest of Honour.
A detailed power point presentation was given by the ICDS department about various activities conducted during Poshan Pakhwada.
The DC Reasi appreciated the impressive achievements by the ICDS and other aligned departments for spreading awareness about nutrition, health, hygiene, optimum feeding of infants etc.
The DC Reasi laid emphasis on doubling the efforts to eradicate malnutrition from every nook and corner of the district.
BDOs, CDPOs, field staff of Angandwadi, ANM & ASHA workers, among others, were also felicitated for their dedication towards the government’s projects. ACD Reasi, Sunil Sharma, CMO Reasi, PS Jaral and other district officers were also felicitated by the DC. Special appreciation was given to Swachh Bharat Prerak, Ravish Rana for his steadfast dedication to the project.
