Starring Pranali Rathod as Durga, Indira Krishnan as Paani Bai, and Aashay Mishra as Anurag, Durga raises the question if love will find a way to bridge the divide between the throne and the kabila tribe. Set against the majestic backdrop of Rajasthan, this forbidden romance weaves the theme of Pyaar hai hesiyat ke paar (Love beyond your status). The tale is centred around Durga, a young woman belonging to a small kabila and adopted by a royal family. Childhood sweethearts Anurag, the royal heir, and Durga find their feelings for each other deepening as they grow older. The budding romance is opposed by the stern household Paani Bai.Excited about playing the role of Durga, Pranali Rathod said, “As an actor, I’ve always been drawn to strong characters and the role of Durga has many layers and brings the required intriguing versatility.
