In a bid to provide better facilities to its members, Press Club of Jammu on Sunday introduced Health cum Fitness Club inside the premises equipped with latest gadgets and machinery.
President Press Club of Jammu Ashwani Kumar inaugurated the Health Club at the Club Premises by cutting a ribbon.
Management Committee members were also present on the occasion.
Speaking after inaugurating the facility, Ashwani Kumar said that it was one of the major demands of the members and finally, the management committee on Sunday inaugurated it.
“It will be an asset for the Club members as it is equipped with latest technology and machinery while expert coaches and trainers will provide coaching to the entrants,” said Ashwani Kumar.
The PCJ President added that in the coming days, more facilities will be introduced for the members as the management committee is committed for an overall development and welfare of the premises and members respectively.
Raman Manhas, In-charge (Trainer) Health and Fitness Club said that it is fitted with latest gadgets, which are rarest of its kind.
He also added that timings for male and female members will be adjusted separately and nominal fee will be charged from the Club members.
Soon a Spa facility will also be introduced, said Manhas.
Former PCJ President Manu Srivatsa, Secretary General, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Executive Committee members Deepak Khajuria, Vishal Bharti, Dinesh Mahajan and Surjeet Singh and journalists were also present on the occasion.
The journalist fraternity welcomed the initiative of the Press Club of Jammu asserting that it was need of the hour as in stressful life, fitness and health must be the priority for all.
