Priyanka Chopra, who was back in the country to walk the ramp for Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour, stunned the crowd in more ways than one. Even as the diva’s stunningly fierce looks in a black ensemble, with sharp cat-eye makeup and a high bun, left everyone speechless, her tribute to the recently deceased Wendell Rodricks left them teary-eyed.Speaking at the occasion, the actress said, “It’s only apt on a night like this in the presence of so many luminaries from the Indian fashion industry that we remember Wendell Rodricks. He was a pioneer, he was a visionary of Indian fashion and he will always and forever be missed.”Interestingly, Wendell, who has worked with Priyanka on many occasions, had publicly criticised Priyanka’s much-talked about look at the red carpet of Grammys 2020. However, Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, who slammed Wendell for his comments on her daughter, was gracious when she said “there was no animosity anymore.”
