With the above mentioned purpose in mind, APS Kaluchak organised a two days CBSE Capacity Building Programme English – XII on 21 and 22 May 2018. About 32 teachers from Panchkula region attended the workshop wholeheartedly as the battle of getting better is never ending.
The event was set rolling with a lighting ceremony which rendered an air of auspiciousness to the workshop. Mr Subhendu Sarkar, Principal KC International School was the resource person for the workshop. Ms Hem Lata Vishen , Principal APS Kaluchak assisted him for the same.
It indeed proved to be a platform to address crucial academic issues, challenges, problems, predicaments etc. that support the stake holders to get deeper understanding on subjects and concepts.
It enabled the facilitators to find out solutions to overcome the pedagogical implications while dealing English language teaching in class XII.
Brig Atul Kumar, emphasized upon the fact that English is the lingua franca and it is the passion for the language which the teachers of English need to foster amongst the students. The facilitators, being the first interface, need to be more versatile than merely being academic experts. They need to be prime movers, motivating favorably about the value of English in shaping individuals life and future.
Hem Lata Vishen, Principal APS Kaluchak emphasised that it is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.
She further illustrated that the young minds need to be trained to become thinkers enabling them to express the vital issues pertaining to the society as they are the torch bearers of mankind.
