As per directions of DFS, Govt. of India, all Public Sector Banks kick-started the nationwide ‘Customer Outreach Initiative’ at State Bank of India, Administrative Office Jammu. All the major banks are present in the outreach programme with their stalls.
The motive of this outreach initiative is to bring festive cheer to customers. Sh. Binod Kumar Mishra (General Manager, SBI Chandigarh), Sh. Ajitav Parashar (Dy. General Manager SBI, Jammu), Sh. Janak Raj Angural, Chairman J&K Grameen Bank & Sh. S K Rana, Dy. General Manager PNB welcomed all the customers & lightened the ceremonial lamp. The visitors were apprised of different products by the different Public/Private Banks/NBFC which includes Home loans, Auto loans, Agriculture loans, MSME loans, Education loans and Personal loans. The customers were also informed about the benefits of the digital banking such as Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile wallets, YONO by SBI. Customers were made cautious of not to share any information to hoax calls or fraudsters & safety tips on online banking was provided by the bank officials to the customers.
The customers were also informed how to download and use BHIM app and other banking apps along with various others schemes of the banks.
Today on the first day of the Customer Outreach programmes all the banks issued on the spot sanction letters related to different type of loans to the eligible borrowers.
The programme gave all the banks an opportunity to market their products to the masses and the customers also got an opportunity to compare & avail the services of the different banks under one roof. All banks are available with their stall for two days from 03 Oct to 04 Oct 19.
However, State Bank of India is continuing its Loan sanctions in festive mode throughout Navrata upto 08.10.2019
State Bank of India being the convenor of this Customer Outreach Initiative in Jammu has also provided free Health check up facility for two days to all the visitors of the programme.
State Bank of India has further organised a cultural programme for folk songs for two hours from 6 pm to 8 pm and all participant in the Customer Outreach Initiative are invited to join.
Customer Outreach Initiative is yet another proactive step by the banks to connect with their valuable customers, which will also create a platform for them to avail host of loans as per their requirements during the festive season. This programme will benefit our customers on a large scale with assistance to achieve their goals.
A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the customers & bankers on the first day of the programme.
