Police Technical Training Vijaypur installed water Cooler, water purifier and voltage stabilizer at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Pura Memorial Park, Rajinder Pura, Bagoona of District Samba on 05.04.2019 to facilitate the general public of the area in view of the approaching summer season under Civic Action Programme. Shri Ashok Kumar,JKPS, SSP Principal PTTI Vijaypur inaugurated the Water Cooler.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion, Principal PTTI Vijaypur remembered son of the soil Brigadier Rajinder Singh who fought various battles during his service career and was conferred the first Gallantry Award (posthumously) for his supreme sacrifice and conspicuous bravery. He said that such programmes are being organized under the directions of worthy DGP J&K under Civic Action Programme with a view to improve police public relations by removing the fear of uniform from the minds of public so that a common man do not consider himself away from men in uniform.
He further said that people should come forward and provide timely information/inputs to the Police regarding the nefarious designs of anti-national and anti-social elements by becoming the eyes and ears of Police. He advised the young blood of the area to channelize their energies in constructive purposes rather than their inclination towards Anti-national/Anti-Social organisations.
The members of Brigadier Rajinder Singh Pura Memorial Trust conveyed their gratitude to the Police Department for providing Water Cooler with Water Purifier facility for use of the general public.

Singh.Dy.SP (Indoor), Shri Ajay Punjabi, Dy.SP (Tech.) Inspr. Hemanshu Sunil Mahajan, Inspr. Jatinder Singh (RI), Inspr. Neeraj Kumar, Inspr. Vikas Sharma, Retd. Police/Army officers, local citizens and others were present on the occasion.
