In a unique initiative, Asia’s Toughest Rally “Raid the Himalayas” is being organized from 8th October to 14th October 2018 in Jammu and Kashmir. With more than 14 drivers and riders taking part in rally, Rally will pass through areas including Leh and Kargil. Rally is receiving wide participation as non-local participants are also showing interest in this unique initiative.
With top sponsors like Techno Automobiles Delhi- Mr. Sandeep Bansil, Polaris India, Map my India Ms. Manpreeet and Jeep India National Jeep Jammu (Service) in the rally, the event will be focused to promote youth of the State into this.
State’s son Taufeeq Mughal of Polaris will be making comeback after achieving podium position in Indian Baja While riding 400 sportsman of Polaris. He will now be riding Polaris 570 sports man.
Among others will be Deepak Sachdava and Japjyout sing, who has been rallying for last one year and got almost 15-18 podiums in TSD: Rihen, a rider turned drive, has been in this field from 15 years and have proven his metal with 1st time in history of J&K a driver form Kargil. Rihen will be accompanied by Mr. Ali Akhoon in the gypsy.
