The lions Club Samba which is known for its services aimed towards the upliftment of poor and downtrodden section of society had constituted there new body for the upcoming year 2020-2021. In a short ceremony held the club unanimously elected Rajnish Pargal elected as President while Prince Anand elected as Vice President, Secretary, Mandeep Singh Sambyal, retired Capt Inder Singh as Treasurer, and Advocate Vijay Gupta as PRO.
According to the report, General election of Lions Club (An International organization) Unit Samba for the year 2020-21 was held at Samba Rajnish Pargal newly elected president of Lions club Samba and his newly elected team assured the present members to work for the betterment of the society and for the upliftment of the weaker section of the society and will complete the work remained uncompleted last year. The President and his team also promised to take further the legacy of lions club. The new team assumed the office and will remain functional for one year starting from July 2020.
Speaking on the occasion the newly elected President Mr Rajnish Pargal had said that he is thankful to the members for imposing faith on him and also shown his determination to work with utmost sincerity towards the goal of Lionism i.e AIM TO SERVE .The club had recently organised different Ration Distribution functions for poor’s during the National Lockdown due to COVID- 19 pandemic and also pledged to work for the same in future.
The other members present on the occasion were Sr. Lion Member S.R Sapolia ji, Sh. Surinder Amba, Sh. Ashok Razaida, Sh. Pawan Verma, Sh. K.P.Mishra, Sh. Rohit Pargal, Sh. Verinder Slathia, Sh. Amit Gupta, Sh. Vivek Goswami, Sh. Ashwani Kumar and Sh. Randish Anand.
