In a significant step towards promoting Dogri Language and Dogra culture, Rakesh Mahajan, Incharge BJP All Cells, BJP J&K, today released the music album titled ‘Bawe Vich Rehn Waaliyan’.The event was graced by Sahil Mahajan, Co-Convenor BJP’s Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell J&K, Rajat Sharma, MD of Unique Outsourcing & Unique Voice News, and Surinder Sharma, Senior Journalist.Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Mahajan emphasized the importance of reviving and preserving Dogri Language and Dogra culture, which he said have been neglected for over six decades. “For too long, our rich Dogra heritage has been sidelined. It is time to bring it to the forefront, and I commend the efforts of the BJP Sanskriti Cell for playing a pivotal role in uplifting and promoting our Dogri language and culture,” he said.
The senior BJP leader further expressed his pride in the album and its role in bringing attention to Dogra music and traditions. “This album is not just a musical creation, but a cultural movement. It symbolizes our dedication to preserving the essence of our roots and passing it on to future generations.”Sahil Mahajan also expressed his gratitude towards Rakesh Mahajan for his continuous support in promoting local art and culture. “Rakesh ji has always stood by us in our efforts to promote Dogri language and culture. His leadership and dedication inspire us to continue our mission of cultural preservation.”The event marked a proud moment for the Dogra community as it witnessed the merging of art, music, and cultural pride, all aimed at revitalizing the long-cherished heritage of the region. The album, produced under the label Maa Bawe Wali Records and available on its official YouTube channel, is a heartfelt tribute to the rich heritage of Dogra culture. The album features vocals by Happy Rahi, with lyrics and composition by Nirbhay Singh Slathia, music by Rahul Bhardwaj, and video direction by K.K. Malhotra. Anika Gupta served as the Producer, and the project was proudly sponsored by Unique Outsourcing and Unique Voice News, spearheaded by Rajat Sharma.
