In-charge All Cells, BJP J&K, Rakesh Mahajan accompanied by Puneet Mahajan Convener Health & Medical Cell, BJP J&K visited Gandhi Nagar Hospital today to take stock of ongoing COVID -19 vaccination. Rakesh Mahajan interacted with staff on duty at the Hospital besides seeking people’s response and suggestions on the ongoing Covid-19 vaccination drive. The staff was attending the people who had come for vaccination with full dedication and utmost care, Mahajan said. He said that staff on duty assured to provide the best facilities to those visiting the hospital, especially those who are coming for vaccination .Mahajan expressed full satisfaction over the progress of the vaccination drive at the hospital .Later, Rakesh Mahajan also interacted with the persons who had come to the centre for vaccination. He said that he was happy to see the enthusiasm of the people there. Those who got vaccinated said that they received the vaccine shots quite smoothly which dispelled all their apprehensions having arisen due to some rumours. They said that they would further make the people in their vicinity and in their contact aware about the necessity of taking the vaccine dose without any fret or fear.
Mahajan said that over all the people at the hospital were quite satisfied with the arrangements for vaccination there and they wholeheartedly appreciated the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the fight against COVID-19 not only in India but globally too. Mahajan said, “BJP is working 24X7 to ensure that the COVID-19 vaccination drive gets paced up so that the life of the people becomes safe and secure amid the second Covid wave. We have fanned out our party activists and workers in all directions across the Union Territory to make the people aware not only about the SOPs to be followed quite strictly but also educating them about the dire need to get them vaccinated.”
He further added that the party cadre at the grass-roots level has been directed to work dedicatedly like NGOs besides educating the people about the necessity of taking precautions like wearing masks and maintaining social distancing even after receiving COVID-10 vaccine shots. He said we are quite confident and sure that under the leadership of PM Modi the nation will soon defeat the ongoing Corona onslaught.
