On World Bicycle Day, Rakul Preet Singh took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, sharing her fondest memories of learning to ride a bicycle. Her journey from a cautious beginner to a confident cyclist resonates with many who have faced similar challenges and triumphs. Rakul’s cycling story began like many others—with a pair of supporting side wheels. “I used to ride my cycle with the supporting side wheels,” she reminisced. “I refused to take them off because I was afraid of losing my balance.” The turning point in her cycling journey came with a little nudge from her father. “One day, dad made them so loose that they came off while I was riding the cycle, and he yelled, ‘Look, you are cycling without the side supporters!’ While I was riding fine until then, the minute my dad pointed that out, I lost my balance and fell. I still have the bruise on my leg from the fall that day.”Rakul hopes to see Mumbai become more cyclist-friendly and she continues to inspire her fans to adopt a healthier lifestyle. On the professional front, Rakul has commenced shooting for De De Pyaar De 2, alongside Ajay Devgn. The film also stars R Madhavan.
