MLA Ramnagar raises key issues of his constituency in Assembly

Dr. Sunil Bhardwaj, BJP MLA from Ramnagar, strongly raised the concerns and developmental needs of his constituency during today’s session of the Legislative Assembly.
He highlighted that awarding tenders at the lowest possible cost has often led to poor quality and execution of projects on the ground.
He urged the government to adopt a more pragmatic and efficient tendering process and to strictly blacklist contractors whose work fails to meet quality standards, violates defect liability periods, or delays project timelines.
Dr. Bhardwaj acknowledged that some constituency-related issues have been addressed, such as the motor-able bridge from Ghordi Khas to Jandrode for rs 2.06 crore and building for PWD Division Ramnagar for Rs 1.44 crore. However, he emphasized that many other bridges and roads remain pending and require urgent attention. These include foot overbridge over River Ujj in Chanju (Panchayat Mang), Rassan Bridge, Dhiran Bridge, Malti to Kalda Bridge, Kadwalat Bridge, Chakal Bridge, Neeli Bridge and Dudu Bridge
He also pointed out that the Dakbunglow in Chowki is in a dilapidated condition and needs immediate funds for repairs to make it operational.
The construction of the SDM building in Basantgarh is still at the tender stage and requires rescheduling and prompt allotment. He further stressed the urgent need for a PWD

Speaking on road infrastructure, Dr. Bhardwaj stated that several key roads in Ramnagar need immediate attention and must be prioritized, including Ramnagar to Basantgarh road (neglected for 70 years) — needs widening and conversion into an all-weather highway under CRF or other government plans, pending environmental clearance of Dudu (Kirchi) to Seoz Dhar road must be expedited and take up on top priority, Chakal to Chigla Balota road via Sia Mehri and Kulwanta Zoffer to Barrian road.
