Range Police Headquarters Jammu presented 112 School Desks to Government Girls High School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu under the scheme of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Rafiq-Ul-Hassan, IPS Dy. Inspector General of Police JSK Range was the Chief Guest.
DIG while speaking on the occasion said that Jammu and Kashmir Police has been organizing various programmes under civic action programme to channelize the talent of youth and keep them away from the social crimes.
Referring the providing of Desks, he said that it is now property of school and added that it is responsibility of the staff and its student to utilize it properly.
Mrs. Kiran Rajput Head Mistress Govt. Girls High School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu while presenting the Vote of thanks to the department said that this gesture will always remain in record.
She also thanked all the staff of RPHQ Jammu and staff members especially to Ms. Rupinder Kour, GGHS Gandhi Nagar, Jammu who anchored the function.
