Speculations were rife that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are tying the knot this year-end. There were reports which claimed the rumoured bride-to-be has even started shopping for her big day.
Recently, the actress revealed her marriage plans and said that when the time comes, she will know. She added that she has been raised in a way where marriage as an institution is extremely important. Without denying that it is her dream to settle down, DP said she has always followed her instinct and will take the plunge when she is ready and “when it’s meant to happen.”
Commenting on wedding rumours, Ranveer Singh recently said he is maintaining a balance between work and life right now. He has many things on his plate but admitted that these things are on his mind. Sadly, nothing has been confirmed yet.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh may finally be ready to seal the deal and settle down. The couple, who have always shared their fondness for the other but never publicly announced their relationship status, will reportedly wed in an intimate ceremony later this year!
According to reports doing the rounds online, Deepika and Ranveer’s parents came together for the first time to discuss the nuptials. This meeting between the parents Prakash and Ujjala Padukone and Jagjit Singh and Anju Bhavnani also involved an exchange of gifts and jewellery for the soon-to-wed couple, which included a Sabyasachi sari for the stress. The families have allegedly short-listed four auspicious dates between September and December for the wedding. The Padukones and Bhavnanis will now scout for the perfect venue in India and abroad before they set D-date. Reports had stated that the bride-to-be has already begun shopping for her trousseau and jewellery with sister Anisha and mother Ujjala.
The wedding will reportedly be a private affair with only close friends and family in attendance as the couple exchange their vows according to Hindu rituals. However, if reports are to be believed, then the couple are yet to decide if they want a grand reception to follow.
