Chairman, Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal today formally released Dogri Album “Adataan” composed and sung by young Rapstar Rohit Singh Bhau, during a function organized by General Zorawar Singh Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust, at Press Club, here.
Young Dogri Rapstar Rohit Singh Bhau, is a Mechanical Engineer by profession and younger son of Martyr Superintendent of Police (SP), J&K, Gulbadan Singh Bhau, who attained martyrdom while fighting terrorism in Kashmir valley, over a decade ago.
MD, Bawa Tour and Travels, S. Balbir Singh was the guest of honour.
While congratulating young and upcoming singer, Rohit Singh Bhau, Team Jammu Chief, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that “there is no dearth of talent in Jammu Province but the same remains hidden as government has yet to come out with specific policy that could provide a platform to such youth to exhibit their splendid talent to the country and the world.”
Highlighting that the love and passion for the mother tongue Dogri is a very positive among youngsters, Chairman, Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that numerous boys and girls from J&K have scaled new heights in various Tele-serials as well as in Bollywood but unfortunately their talent has not been recognized here in the state. “The government must formulate a policy for nurturing young talent so that budding artists can excel in their respective fields besides bringing fame and laurels to the region,” highlighted Zorawar Singh Jamwal
Young Rapstar, Rohit Singh Bhau while briefing media persons, informed that it was not an easy thing for him to bring out Dogri album as it was only due to support of my family including mother Dr Sushma Chib, elder brother Mohit Chib and friends besides day and night hard work that finally made my dream come true. He also assured that in near future he would start working on the theme of Team Jammu “Say No To Drugs” and also motivating youth of Jammu Province nation building.
Trustees of General Zorawar Singh Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust, Diksha Kaluria and Riya Kaluria detailed that
such an initiative was taken to promote hidden Dogri Artist and their untold stories.
They further said that the Trust would continue to provide its platform to young entrepreneurs be it singing, dancing, academics or sports sector besides promoting Dogri language, Culture and history. The main motive of this press conference was is to highlight the Dogri hip hop song and also highlighting event of Musical Evening that will organized by Trust is collaboration with VR Production to be held on Sept 11, 2021, here in the city.
