Jammu, June, 23 : To observe death anniversary of founder of Bhartiya Jana Sangh Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi and Manager of Manipal Hospitals Amit Balgotra organised a free medical checkup camp today which was inaugurated by BJP party chief Ravinder Raina.
Ex-MLA Rajesh Gupta, Chairman Sanitary JMC Baldev Singh Billoria, Prabhari Distt Jammu Jugal Dogra, Corporator Anil Masoom were also present on the occasion.
Speaking after inaugurating the camp, BJP State President Ravinder Raina, said that this is purely humanitarian where acclaimed and specialist doctors examined patients and also provided them with medicines. He added that patients must take advantage of such free camps that are aimed at helping them stay fit.
The medical camp was organised by Manipal Hospitals wherein specialised physicians and orthopaedics were deployed and free checkups were conducted. Large number of patients were provided medical consultancy and their bone density tests were also conducted.
Among others present included Kuldeep Kandhari,Sunil Dogra,Sunil Sharma, Hari Om Sharma, Sushil Sharma, Rajesh Dogra, Ravi Singh, Ashok Lambad, Sudhir Anand, Gulshan, Satsh Kumar, Pawan Kerni, Sukhvit kohli, Gurdas Sharma, Nupin Malhota, Adarsh Kumar, Angral ji, Sandeep Bali, Kasten Gupta, Grover ji, Sevita Anand, Shardadevi, Manju, Kamla Sharma, Rewa Bala, Anita Gandotra, Pooja, Neelam Kumari, Parabha Darshna and others. Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi said that free aid and check-up facility was provided to the patients at their doorstep and they were examined for cardiac, neurology and orthopaedic besides tests related to BP, sugar, BMD & ECG were also conducted.
He added that such medical were earlier also held for the convenience of people. Yudhvir Sethi assured that in future also more such medical hospitals will be roped in along with doctors and paramedical staff to provide all necessary help/aid to the patients at respective places.
Yudhvir Sethi said poorest of people will be given access to medical camps for their welfare and a healthy life in near future as well.
Earlier, Ravinder Raina said that It’s because of relentless efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior party functionaries including state and central leaders and workers that BJP has also become world’s largest party in terms of primary membership.
Paying tributes to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee, Yudhvir Sethi said that he was a great Indian politician, barrister and academician, who served as the minister for industry and supply.
Yudhvir Sethi added that several projects Soil Health Card Scheme, Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, Skill India, Kisan Vikas Patra (Kvp) Re-Introduced, Integrated Ganga Conservation Mission ‘Namami Gange’, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana, Digital India Programme, Housing For All By 2022, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana and Atal Pension Yojna are all aimed at making a strong India benefits of which which are reaching every deserving person.
