POONCH, Sept 21:
Raza ul Uloom Higher Secondary School facilitated those medal winners in the District Taekwondo Championship held at Sports Stadium, here recently.
Those winning players were presented the medals by the special guest, Incharge Sports Stadium Poonch, Nirdosh Kumar Sharma and guest of honour, Rajinder Singh.
Earlier, Head of the Raza ul Uloom School, Abdul Rahman highlighted the achievements of students in Taekwondo and also appreciated the trainer, Rajinder Singh.
Speaking to the gathering, Nirdosh Kumar congratulated the medal winners and praised Taekwondo trainer, Rajinder Singh for providing young player a chance to excel.
Rajinder Singh also spoke to the players advising them to work hard and excel in sports. He on behalf of the district association handed over the overall championship trophy to the school.
Prominent among others present were Principal, Raza ul Uloom, Shabir (Coordinator), Abdul Rehman (HOD) and Anjum Mehtab (Physical trainer).
