In a path breaking seminar – Jammu Under Siege; Expectations from Prime Minister Narendra Modi – under the aegis of IkkJutt Jammu here today the panelists unanimously urged the Prime Minister of India to recognize the grim reality that Jammu and Kashmir State has been a Muslim State on the territory of India and it is a paramount national responsibility to dismantle this Muslim State and create in its place a new dispensation which will strengthen democracy and national unity.
The participants unanimously urged the Prime Minister to recognize the dangerous drift which is pushing this Muslim State of J&K to become an Islamist State. This realisation is paramount to defeat the Jihadi war going on inside to merge with Islamist violence going on globally to create an Islamic caliphate.
Chairman IkkJutt Jammu Ankur Sharma, Advocate in his keynote address said that IkkJutt Jammu has started a movement to dismantle the Muslim State of Jammu and Kashmir. “I started a campaign against the state sponsored demographic invasion on Jammu. This demographic campaign is aimed at converting Jammu and Ladakh into Muslim majority areas. Our PIL against the Roshni Act was meant to stop the demographic Jihad through the aegis of Legislative Acts like Roshni Act. Our PIL in the Supreme Court to secure the rights of minority Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains and Christians aims not only to ensure that the benefits of numerous schemes meant for the minorities goes to the real minorities in the state but also to bring it into the notice of the Nation that the J&K is functioning as a Muslim state because it does not recognize the rights of non-Muslim minorities. IkkJutt Jammu wants empowerment of Jammu and Ladakh in a way that the non-Muslims living here can aspire to become even the Chief Minister.” He appealed to Prime Minister to cancel all sale of property of internally displaced Kashmiri Hindus in valley and be recognized as a distress sale and cancelled forthwith as a first step in reversing the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus in the valley.
Sonam Dawa, General Secretary Ladakh Buddhists Association while explaining the damaging consequences of Kashmiri Muslim hegemony being imposed on the province of Ladakh said that creating a Union Territory of Ladakh has become paramount in case Ladakh province has to be saved from falling into the hands of Islamists. He said Prime Minister should take immediate steps to include Bhoti language in the 8th Schedule of Indian Constitution.
Her further said that till Ladakh becomes a Union territory, Divisional status should be conferred on it, whereby all directorates function in the province.
Dawa also appealed the PM Narendra Modi to intervene to set up Minority Commission in the state and promulgate an anti-Conversion law and creation of a Central Institute of Buddhist Studies as a full-fledged University.
Prof. Hari Om, in his presentation said that the PM of India has to realise that time is fast running out and in case the State has to be saved from falling into the hands of Islamist separatists, it has to be reorganized by creating a Separate State of Jammu, Union territory of Ladakh and UT of Panun Kashmir in valley. He said that unless Prime Minister Narendra Modi realises this critical necessity, the war against Pakistan and Pan-Islamic fundamentalism cannot be won. He said my vote is not for electing Muslim Chief Minister from Kashmir which has been happening since 1951, when a 100 per cent rigged National Conference Constituent Assembly-cum-Legislative Assembly was imposed on the people of the state. He said my vote is for electing a Chief Minister from Jammu province and CM from Ladakh province so that the Kashmiri Muslim hegemony is broken and Jammu and Ladakh obtain the status they deserved in the Indian polity. Prof. Hari Om said that this is possible only if the state is quadrificated doing away with the Nehruvian Kashmir and Kashmiri Muslim centric doctrine.
Dr. Ajay Chrungoo, Chairman Panun Kashmir said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should forthwith stop the policy of running the state through half separatist formations. Half separatism has made full separatism a self sustaining movement. He also asked PM not to dither the realisation of recognizing the forced exodus of Hindus from Kashmir as a genocide and reversal of genocide as a paramount reality. He said that Hindus of Kashmir can go back only in a dispensation in valley which is a UT North and east of river Jhelum where there is free flow of Indian Constitution.
Maj. Gen Goverdhan Singh Jamwal (Retd) speaking on the occasion said that there are 2 lakh families of serving and ex-servicemen in the state who have contributed immensely for the nation as well as the State of Jammu and Kashmir. But the successive State governments have not respected even the supreme sacrifices of the sons of the soil while terrorists are being rewarded financially as well as publically. He said that the opposition to the Sainik colony project in Kashmir by all the parties including Cong, PDP, NC, Hurriyat Conference demonstrates the mindset of the powers that be towards the ex-servicemen, army and even para-military forces.
Maj Gen Jamwal said that Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir are not pulling together, while Ladakh, displaced Kashmiri Hindus are already demanding Union territory, demand for a separate state/UT are also being raised in Jammu so it would be better that the central government granted three UTs.
Reena Choudhary, Sarpanch speaking on the occasion said that Article 35A is an anti-women, anti-Minorities provision which must go and PM Narendra Modi must initiate steps to revoke the Act.
Smt. Reena Choudhary, Sarpanch Pangdour Samba spoke about the second class treatment being meted out to females on account total handover to power to the Muslim establishment in J&K. She showed deep concerns about the ongoing demographic Invasion of Jammu and stressed that minorities should get Minority Rights in J&K.
