Two-day district Reasi athletics championship concluded today with the holding of prize distribution function at General Zorawar Singh Stadium, here.
President Bar Council Reasi, MS Mir was chief guest, who presented medals and certificates to those winners and participants.
He encouraged the young athletes and asked the J&K Amateur Athletics Association to hold such competitions on regular basis and further involve young men and women in regular training and coaching sessions in the district.
The competition held under the supervision of technical advisor and observer of the Association, Romesh Kumar Sharma and supported by preside District Reasi Athletics Association, Manu Partap Singh.
The technical penal comprised Opinder Pal Singh and Anam Khan. Among others present were Jag dev Singh, Arun Dev, Rahul Bakshi (consultant ) District Athletic Association and organising secretary.

BOYS: Under-14: 100 meters: Sumit Rao, Ist; Madhav Singh, 2nd and Ajay Singh, 3rd. 600 mts: Sumit Rao, Ist, Gourav Rao, 2nd and Ajay Sharma, 3rd. Under-16: 100 meters: Datar Singh, Ist, Vishvas, 2nd and Prince, 3rd. 800 mts: Aditya Singh, Ist; Tarun Nargotra, 2nd and Sunil Singh, 3rd. High Jump: Sunil, Ist and Tarun, 2nd. Shot Put: Ajay Singh, Ist; Vijay Kumar, 2nd and Rajveer Singh, 3rd . Long Jump: Datar Singh, Ist; Vishwas, 2nd and Manjeet Kumar, 3rd.
GIRLS: Under-16: 100 mts: Tanvi Kohli, Ist; Kajal Sharma, 2nd and Manisha Kumar, 3rd. 800 mts: Shivani, Ist; Manisha, 2nd and Pavneet Kour, 3rd. Long Jump: Diksha Devi, Ist; Kajal Sharma, 2nd. High Jump: Diksha, Ist. Shot Put: Shivani Thakur, Ist; Tanvi Kohli, 2nd and Rashmi, 3rd.
