Jammu, June 17 :
Nearly a week after terrorists attacked a bus ferrying pilgrims in Reasi district, the Union Home Ministry gas handed over the investigation to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Official sources on Monday said that the investigation into the Reasi terrorist attack on the bus has been handed over to NIA.
“The decision to hand over the probe to the NIA was taken after the high level meeting chaired by Home Minister Amit Shah in the National capital on June 15,” the

sources said. They said that the investigating agency has started a thorough probe to find out the conspiracy behind the attack.
“The NIA took over the case from Jammu and Kashmir Police and registered an FIR in the matter following orders issued by the Home Ministry in view of the seriousness of the incident,” they added.
Jammu and Kashmir Police have announced Rs 20 lakh reward for information of terrorists and also released a sketch.
Ten pilgrims were killed and 33 injured when a bus carrying pilgrims from the Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra near Teryath village in the Pouni area fell into the gorge after an attack.
More than 20 people have been picked up for questioning.
