Reasi zone won the inter-zonal district level under-17 boys selection cricket tournament held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Sports Stadium, here today.In the final, Reasi defeated Chassana zone by 11 runs. Batting first, Reasi made 68 runs with Ajay Patel being top scorer contributing 19 runs From Chassana, Narotam Singh and Shaqoo took three and two wickets respectively.In reply, Chassana could not chase the target. Qurban Ali and Shaqoor were top scorers with 25 and 13 runs respectively. From Reasi, Shravan bowled match winning spell of four wickets.In total, five teams took part in under-17 age group representing Reasi, Pouni, Arnas, Chassana and Mahore. Today’s matches officiated by the technical penal including Sandeepan Sharma, Kuldeep Raj, Jagdev Singh, Ankush Sharma and Goutam Koundal.
