Regional Ayurveda Reasearch Institute for Urinary disorders, Rajinder Nagar Bantalab Jammu today organized free Medical Camp as a prophylactic measure in the pandemic of Covid-19 today in Tehsil RS Pura. Thew camp was organized under the guidance of Dr Gopesh Sharma and attended by Dr Prakriti Sharma and Dr Shifali Saproo. On this occasion free Ayurveda Raksha Kit consisting of Chyawanprash, Ayush Kwath, Samshamani Vati, Anu Talia along with soap for hand wash and Masks were distributed. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Prakriti Sharma said that Ayurveda Raksha Kit are time tested classical remedies which are already in the public health guidelines issued by Ministry of AYUSH. Dr Prakriti Sharma asked the people to avoid junk food and shun unhealthy eating habits as Ayurveda stresses upon right diet.
She further added Ayurveda places special emphasis on Ahara and believes that healthy nutrition nourishes the mind, body, and soul.
Ahara is considered as one of the key pillars (Upasthambha). She apprised people about value of nourishment through diet in his lecture on the occasion. She stressed that diet should be included of all essential element of nutrition. She said that nutritious diet is essential for active mind and healthy body. Hundreds of people were provided Ayurveda Raksha Kit on the ocassion. The locals highly appreciated the move of Institute for providing these kits at their doorstep during time of pandemic.
