Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Rao, President Thathri Development Front wants to appeal to the voters of J&K State on the eve of the Lok Sabha elections. This time the voters must rise above the consideration of party politics, region or religion, caste etc and exercise the voting power to elect only honest and efficient representatives and where there is no scope of such exercise, they should press the NOTA button of EVMs.
Mr. Rao said that Dr Karan Singh, Sr. Congress leader is appealing for vote to his Son Sh. Vikramaditya Singh-Congress Lok Sabha Candidate from Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat & ( EX.MLC-PDP) & his son Sh. Ajatshatru Singh, Ex. MLC-NC & now MLC-BJP is appealing vote for BJP candidate, Dr. Jitendra Singh. “Mr. Ajatshatru Singh said that the Top Congress leaders of the state remained in Government for the past 60-70 years, but enjoyed their privileges only & cared nothing for the innocent public of Jammu region. Counting upon the achievements of Jitendra Singh, BJP MP from Udhampur Lok Sabha seat, Ajatshatru Singh said that only by his efforts, projects like Seed Processing Plant, Samba-Kathua Road up-gradation, Degree Colleges, Keediyan Gandyal Bridge,2 Passport offices,2 Medical Colleges, Shahpur Kandi Project, Community Halls, Mobile Towers along international Boarder, Devika River. Rejuvenation Project, 2 Power Projects namely Pakkal Dool of 1000 MW capacity & Keeru of 600 MW power generation capacity, Juthana Bridge Kathua,water park,2 National Highway Villages, 3 prestigious tunnels including Chattergala, Khelani-Sudh Mahadev & Kaljugasar connoting Himachal, Up gradation of Radio stations, War Memorial, Post Office branch at Gandoh etc are a few of among the long list of the works done by the sitting MP ,Dr. Jitendra Singh,where as the Congress leaders who remained MPs for decades, have nothing to claim. Those talking of Dogras & their honour,should first tell what they did during their tenure as Chief Minister, Ministers, MPs & MLAs,said Ajathshatru Singh & reminded them that it was Atal Behari Vajpayee led BJP Govt. which incorporate Dogri in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution on the other hand,Congress & NC conspired to force Maharaja Hari Singh to Live in exile in Bombay after leaving his State.” And “ Mr Vikramaditya Singh slams BJP for creating castle of imaginary development in the region & appealing for vote in favour of Congress for Peace & development” & some other Top Congress leaders say that Congress believes in development & progress work.
Mr. Rao reminded the Congress leaders that the Late Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi had said nearly 30 years ago, is still in vogue right from his time till date. He had said that out of the total funds provided for the developmental works only 15% reaches to the ground level, the remaining 85% goes into private pockets. The MP’s, MLA’s, MLC’s and Ministers during Congress-NC rule in J&K had not made accountable for proper utilization of developmental funds. NGO’s also had not been made accountable during their period. They are the real killers of constitutional Institutions like, Panchati Raj Act 1989, Accountability Commission of 2002 etc. He further said that frequent amendments made by Congress-NC during their period the Panchati Raj Act, SAC & CVC, are made mere toothless Tigers
Mr. Rao further said that writing is clear on the wall and people have seen through the deceptive game plan of all these traditional political parties and time has come when Shah Faisal like top intelligent personality taking one from Arvind Kejriwal has jumped in for transforming the old jaundiced & corrupt political system for our society. We have to discard all these spent forces in whatever colour they come before the masses & not to fall prey to the ‘unscrupulous political turncoats’ who pronounce themselves to be the champions of masses he said.
