Rekha Mahajan, senior BJP leader today conducted a tour to the village Chatta under the ongoing ‘Gaon Chalo Abhiyaan,’ a significant initiative aimed at engaging with rural populations to promote government welfare programs and enhance community participation. Interacting with people, Rekha Mahajan said that the aim of holding such programs is to bridge the gap between the government and the grassroots level, ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach every corner of Jammu and Kashmir. She emphasized the importance of awareness regarding Central Government initiatives, as they play a crucial role in improving the living standards of rural communities.
She said that every section of society is getting equal attention and opportunities under Modi’s regime, highlighting how the government’s policies are focused on the upliftment of all, including marginalized groups and rural populations. Rekha Mahajan also assured the people that the BJP is committed to bringing sustainable development to every village, ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of progress. During her visit, Rekha Mahajan kickstarted cleanliness drives at the local temples, emphasizing the importance of maintaining cleanliness not just in homes but also in religious places, which are central to the cultural fabric of the village. “Cleanliness is not just about hygiene; it’s about fostering a sense of responsibility within the community. Today’s initiative is a small step towards making our temples cleaner and more inviting for devotees,” she stated. After the cleanliness campaign, the senior BJP leader interacted with the local residents, discussing the various welfare schemes initiated by the Modi Government, including the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, all of which have had a transformative impact on the lives of rural families. She made sure to explain how these programs are designed to uplift rural communities by providing access to healthcare, financial inclusion, and sanitation, among others. Later, Rekha Mahajan held a meeting with the Booth President and Booth Committee members to discuss ways of strengthening the BJP’s presence at the grassroots level. She urged them to work hard and ensure that their respective booths are better equipped to reach out to voters and convey the policies of the Modi Government effectively. Rekha Mahajan urged the people of Chatta to remain engaged with Modi government’s initiatives and continue to work towards building a cleaner, more prosperous community.
