Jammu, Sept 15:
Sahib Bandgi’s Sadguru Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj, while delighting the congregation with the nectar of his discourses at Rakhbandhu, Jammu today, said that going to a pilgrimage gives one fruit, but if you meet a saint, you get all four fruits. But if you meet a saint, you get many fruits.
Sahib Ji said that this world is a land of action. All living beings have the same soul. You should not kill any living being. Therefore, eating meat is a grave sin.
Our religion establishes the power of the Almighty. Truth and non-violence are its two principles. Truth also has eight parts and so does non-violence. In non-violence, no living being should be hurt by mind, words and actions. This is a great sin. All the actions we are doing reach the conscience. And the intellect will be formed according to the action. Those who always do sinful actions, their conscience and intellect will never go in that direction. The person whose intellect gets polluted by sinful deeds, cannot see God even in his dreams. He will never go towards good deeds. Our ancestors did not commit sins. But today we have gone towards the western culture. There sex partners keep changing, but our culture never accepts it. The food you are eating will have an effect on your intellect. Similarly, the deeds you are doing will have an effect on your conscience.
There are seven streams of sin. The first stream of sin is- lying. Lying will give birth to all crimes. That is why Sahib said that there is no penance equal to truth and there is no sin equal to lying. When a person takes intoxicants, the cells become intoxicated, when he gets angry, the cells become angry. He always keeps getting angry. In this way, a power comes inside the person who does Sumiran. Sahib is saying that Japa, Tapasya, Sanyam, Sadhna, all are obtained through Sumiran.
The second door of sin is- violence. That is why religion says that we should not kill any living being. First we should become a good person, then we can move ahead.
In this way, there are eight parts of non-violence. We should not harm anyone through our thoughts, words or deeds. We should not be jealous of anyone, we should not have feelings of revenge, we should not wish harm to anyone, we should not insult anyone. We should become virtuous.
Then it is said that we should not consume intoxicants. We should renounce all the impure things. Then it is said that we should not have sexual relations with other women. This is the gate to hell. This is a great sin. Ravan lost his ten heads because of other women. Then we should not steal. Theft is the gate to hell. Then we should not gamble. This is the gate to hell. Dushasan and Duryodhan had the audacity to disrobe Draupadi. But they had lost because of gambling. That is why it happened. Then we should not cheat. Earlier, crimes were committed by illiterate people, ignorant people, now educated people are committing crimes. You should not get trapped. Cheating has become a business these days.
These are the seven gates to hell. You should avoid them. It is up to you where you want to go. It is clearly mentioned in the scriptures that where you will go due to which sins. There is different punishment for different crimes in hell. One who goes towards another’s wife, Yamraj heats up an iron wife and makes him embrace her. One who scares someone, his hands are chopped off there. Man is thoughtful. He has to do every work after thinking. Eat pure food. Eat food earned through pure earnings. Otherwise the intellect will get frustrated. One who always commits sinful acts, never understands the message of self-knowledge.).
