Rich Floral Tributes were paid to Prof. Bhim Singh the founder of J&K National Panthers Party on his 2nd death anniversary. JKNPP (Bhim) leaders remembered Prof. Bhim Singh’s great contributions for the whole of mankind.
Vilakshan Singh, President of JKNPP (Bhim) while speaking on the occasion said that Prof Bhim Singh was a politician who never compromised in any situation however adverse the same may be. He said that the death of Prof. Bhim Singh has created a huge void in the political arena. He further said that Prof. Bhim Singh always stood up for the cause of the poor and downtrodden. His sacrifices for the people of J&K are unparalleled. He said that be it draconian Resettlement Act or depriving the women of their status of being state subject after marriage, he fought against all sorts of discrimination irrespective of caste, colour or creed of the deprived class. Singh said that Prof Bhim Singh was the most secular leader in the country. Once he was convinced that wrong has been committed to someone, he fought tooth and nail against injustice meted out to any person without caring for his religion. Singh said that J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim) shall continue to fight for “Haq-Insaf”. Singh appealed to the masses to strengthen J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim) as JKNPP (Bhim) is the only party in J&K which can fulfill the aspirations of people of J&K.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Balwan Singh, Naresh Chib, Rajesh Gondhi, Sanjeev Verma and others.
