The 7th Annual fest of Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana was celebrated with great deal of patriotic zeal, reverence & fervor. The program began with the M.D. Gambhir Singh’s welcome speech who said “Most people from outside the school would think of Annual Fest as a one-off event. What people see here is the culmination of the hard work that the students & the teachers put in through the year.”
The theme of the program was “India”. The whole campus was beautifully done up in mesmerizing tri-colors. The campus was bubbing with the activity. The function commenced with lighting of the lamp.
The students showcased a Kaleidoscope of cultural program which consisted of Integrity items by Kindergarten, Patriotic Songs, Poetic Recitation, Krishan Leela, Role plays, enactment of Mangal Pandey , etc.
The bedazzling performances were graced by the Chief Guest Shri Chander Prakash Ganga, Minister for Industries & Commerce, who in his very inspiring speech spoke eloquently about our diverse nation.
He enthralled the audience with inspirational words and reiterated the need for being resolute in our path to achieve our goals.
He shared his vision which is to create a society of progressive thinking individuals who will contribute to the intellectual development of the global community by initiating “Positive Changes in social fabric”. He encouraged the students to be disciplined & to become responsible citizens of India whereas Th. Gulchain Singh Charak Former Minister & President Dogra Sadar Sabha presided over.
Th. G.S Charak in his presidential address said that India is a largest democracy where we have about 325 spoken languages and we in our school instill the feeling of tolerance and brotherhood.
He urged that students of today should contribute and make a mark on the world map.
He said that we may not be a wealthy power in the world, yet we are recognized as good human beings in a great country.
Finally all assembled and bowed to the rendering of our national song, Vande mataram, a perfect tribute to our motherland.
The Annual report read by the Principal Ms. Anita Bhatia highlighted the achievements of the Students and the School.
Brig. Rajan Jamwal, Group Commander NCC HQ, Mr. S.Sambanna, Dy.Com KV Sangathan, Jammu Region, Ms. Uma Katal the Vice Chairperson & Founder Rich Harvest School, Shri. Samar Dev Singh Charak Sec. Dogra Educational Trust, Ms. Bela Charak Academic Director Dogra College of Education, Shri. Sharat Khajuria Director Dogra Educational trust, Principals of various prestigious institutions, Community members and parents were present during the occasion in large numbers to encourage & witness the splendid performance by the students.
Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana is a social initiative of SG Dogra Foundation which imparts quality education to the children and the community living in the Vicinity. The school has been winning laurels in both Academic & Co-curricular activities & has earned the reputation of a prestigious Educational Institute affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, in Samba Distt.
