Ridhi Dogra, who essayed a key role in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, recently recalled memories of the film as it completed one year. The film is directed by South filmmaker Atlee and it also marked the debut of female superstar Nayanthara in Bollywood. Considering the extensive star cast and massive budget, the film was riding on high expectations and created quite a bit of uproar after its release making it one of the biggest blockbusters of the country. Now, as the film completes one year, Ridhi, who played the favourite ‘Kaveri amma’ in the film, decided to share a sweet note.Dedicating her note to the film’s captain Atlee, actress Ridhi Dogra shared an unseen photo from the sets of Jawan on her Instagram story which captured a rare moment featuring the filmmaker’s mother. She made a reference to the same in her caption as she wrote, “I love this photo because of your mom it captures your mom smiling. As the film turns 1 I thank your faith. Your patience, But more than anything as a cinema lover. Thank you for your unique brand of cinema. Forever Fan!”Earlier this weekend, Shah Rukh Khan too had taken to social media to share a video of montages from Jawan. The film featured the Bollywood megastar in dual roles as father and son along with Nayanthara as a honest cop and Deepika Padukone in an extended cameo. Along with Vijay Sethupathi as the lead antagonist and Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and a host of others playing key roles, the film aimed at the extensive corruption rampant in multiple walks of life.
