Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre, organized a special program here today to commemorate Dhanwantari Jayanti, the birth anniversary of the divine physician, Lord Dhanvantari. The program was aimed to honour the ancient Indian system of medicine, Ayurveda, and its profound contributions to holistic well-being. It featured a variety of activities, including Lecture on Ayurveda, Free Ayurvedic Health Camp & Free Distribution of Ayurvedic Medicines.
Swami Mahaprajnananda, Dr. Jatinder Gupta, Dr. Sujata Sathu, & Dr. Lotika Bharati delivered talks on Ayurvedic way of lifestyle and Lord Dhanwantari.
The program included distinguished guests including Dr. Jatinder Gupta and team from Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad, Dr. Sujata Sathu, Dr. Deepika, Dr. Virender, Dr. Bharati Bhat, Dr. Lotika Bharati & team from Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital graced the event with their presence.
A total of 130 students and teachers from St. Xavier Covent School, Barnai attended the program. They received a health check-up and free medicines.
Swami Yajnadharananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, highlighted the organization’s commitment to the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Maa Sarada, and Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing service to humanity as a form of divine worship.
