Organised by the Mountaineering Rescue Team (MRT) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, a two-day Rock Climbing camp for young children started at a training base in district Samba today.Around 100 young students have been involved in the special adventure activity in support with ‘Guidance and Counselling Cell for Youth Development (NGO) under Civic Action Programme of the JKP.”During the two-day first of its kind activity by the MRT, these young boys and girls shall be given a feel of the adventure activities, especially Rock Climbing. The aim of the two-day event is to expose children to nature around them while making them physically and mentally strong,” said Incharge of MRT, Eveterster, Ram Singh Salathia.Earlier, the campers were received and briefed by the Commandant of the IRP 12th Bn of the J&K Police based in Nud, district Samba.
