In line with the preparation to combat the possible third wave of Covid-19, Rodic Consultants Pvt. Ltd., a leading infrastructure consultancy, has donated an ISO-certified 20-MT Cryogenic Container to Government Medical College, Jammu. The Cryogenic container has been imported from Dubai and will be used fortransportation/storage of Liquid Medical Oxygen. This is the first cryogenic oxygen container in the UT of J&K. It will strengthen the supply chain of oxygen for the benefit of patients.
The cryogenic container was handed over to the team of Government Medical Collegeby Mr.Anshul Garg, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu.Appreciating the gesture, Deputy Commissioner Jammu said, “We are thankful to Rodic Consultants for this noble initiative at this critical juncture during Covid times. The initiative will boost our preparedness for emergency supply of oxygen. This initiative has doubled the installed capacity of Liquid Medical Oxygen in Govt. Medical College Jammu.”
Dr. Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal & Dean, Government Medical College, Jammu said“The Cryogenic Oxygen Container will help us in the transport/storage of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) and will go a long way in tackling the deadly wave of Covid-19.”
“The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a massive loss of human lives, and the threat of the third wave looms large. We must be extra- vigilant to avoid the outbreak of the third wave. It is our collective responsibility to strengthen preparedness and augment the government efforts.The initiative has been undertaken as a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility. I am confident that it will ensure the backup for a smooth and hassle-free oxygen supply and save human lives,” said Mr. Raj Kumar, Chairman &Managing Director, Rodic Consultants Pvt. Ltd.
