Sahib Bandagi’s Sadguru Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj, while delighting the congregation with the nectar of his sermons in Ranjdi, Jammu today, said that the soul is unique. It is beyond the five physical elements. Everyone has explained it this way. We have to see what the mind and Maya are like. Everyone says the same thing that brother, what should we do, we are bound in the mind and Maya. But this is not enough. There is no second opinion in one fact. Everyone is talking about salvation. I told a man that human life is for attaining salvation, try to attain some salvation as well. He said what is the need for salvation. I am happy here. I have a very beautiful house. I have a lot of money. I have a good job as well. My wife is well behaved. Children are educated. I am happy. What is the use of salvation.
The first thing is who thinks like this. Why do we think like this? There are mainly some such people in the world. Why does this happen? Because the intellect is based on the deeds. Water is pure. But if we put dirt in it, we say that the water has become dirty. If we purify the water, then it is no longer dirty. If dirty substances get mixed in it, then the water becomes dirty. Similarly, the soul is pure. First we see why there are sinners. This soul element is the same in all. It neither decreases nor increases.
First we see why we need salvation. Small children do not know the importance of money. I gave a 100 rupee note to a small child, he tore it and threw it away. But as we grow up a little, we come to know that brother, all the work is being done with money only. Similarly, until we do not know the importance of salvation, we will not try for it. Man is not trying for salvation. Why? He does not have curiosity. He saw how his parents are living. How the family is being run. We all have a tradition that when the child grows up a little, we send him to school. We inculcate a belief in him that he should study. He is watching everyone. He studies for a job. Then we all force him to get married. When he gets married, he thinks of having children. He spends his entire life like this but does not get happiness.
All the great souls till date have called the world full of sorrow. Everyone said that we are all in bondage. Why is there sorrow? Everyone called it a house of sorrow. Man leaves the world at the time of death like a gambler regrets a lot after losing. After losing all the money, he brushes off the money and goes away. One day or the other, he will have to leave. Man works very hard to collect money, gets married, children are born, grandchildren come. Suddenly one day he has to leave everything and go away. This is a great sorrow. Still man is not making efforts for salvation. Why? Out of ignorance. Where did this come from? A mother fell from the roof. The boundary wall was not built. The attention was diverted. Her arm was broken. All the people in her family were well known. They brought Mai to me. I told Mai to go to the hospital, get an X-ray done. Then tell me whether the bone is broken or the flesh is broken. The family members said that she did not want to go to the hospital, so she went to a wise man and had tied a bandage. Mai did not listen to me. They brought Mai to me again. I repeated my words. But they said that the doctor is saying that you delayed. Flesh has grown in the middle of the fracture. Now an operation will have to be done. Mai did not listen to that either. Mai got cancer, she died.
In this way, man does not want to take measures for salvation. Even if he is doing it, he is not taking the right measures. We are bound due to ignorance. This is born from Tamoguna. Due to this ignorance, everything seems true to us. Everything seems to be ours. It is bound in the mind and Maya. Maya is the body. We are bound in the body. What is the body? There are five elements and nothing else. The whole game is illusionary. But the energy required for the body to work is provided by the soul. That is Prana. The soul is taking the Prana and releasing it. Even if someone is going to do dirty work, the soul has given him strength. Because the soul considered itself as the mind and intellect. Due to ignorance, the soul considered itself as the body. The mind tied the soul to it. That is why there is no one else who is your enemy, only the mind.
